lock up!
No, 10 lads on the beer 5 of them go out and are seen to go out (by the spotters) 5 lads remain in the dark for a couple of hours (Thursday is the night most favoured by the scumbags as it is changeover day)
GNR have been very responsive to be fair!
The thread should have read "LOOK OUT" because our villa was very well locked indeed

Re: lock up!
Im very sorry to hear that CM..what a terrifying experience for your Dad, I hope hes okay?CM wrote:Our Villa has been screwed twice in a week![]()
The last time (Monday night) they held a knife to my dads throat to ensure they could both leave the villa through the window they had come in through![]()
I do however have a cunning plan
(shall we now call you 'Baldrick'?
Cheers Ellie
Dads fine, My mum hit one of them over the head with her handbag! I told her that was daft but she was fuming!
will report on operation "honeytrap" when I get back, needless to say if we do catch them we will merely drop them off at the GNR station on our way into town and in no way will we give them a bloody good hiding as this would be illegal

Recent Break Ins
Our Villa in Area dos Moinhos was also broken in on the 24th October between 7 and 10pm.
The thieves Broke through the outside timber shutters, security sliding gates and patio door.
They then Broke any wardrobe doors which were locked and went through the villa.
Got away with a camera and 3 bananas.
The thieves are always looking for money so the advice is to always lock away valuables in a safe. Also make sure that all doors and windows are secure at night, I have known of occassions where thieves have stolen from villas while the occupants are asleep.
I notice that alarms are not very common in villas around carvoeiro.
Maybe there is a demand for these.
All one would need is a sensor in the villa which would trigger the alarm.
The only downside to this is if the villa is vacant who will respond to the alarm.
Any ideas out there ??

We are at the back of ADM, an alarm is a priority now and I have been looking into a remote camera activated by movement, it will text me when alarmed and record all movement. Not quite sorted it yet but it has gone from a "toy" project into a full scale charge to make it work.
Dog barking alarm! has anybody heard of those?
