Market Research: office space

Post by Homme Poco »

Any constructive input would be appreciated:

Me and her indoors are considering buying and refurbishing two offices in CVO centre. Just wondering if there would be any demand and what we might expect as a rental income? size: Approx. 25 meters square each, with shared entrance and W.C.

Thanks, HP. :?:

I think you would do well as you will I know do most of the work yourself....There always seems to be a few available...but usually either falling down or very high rental.......I looked couple of years back......gave up as rents were very high and red tape and licenses finished me off.

I am not sure office space is in high demand at the moment, HP.

There are a lot of new office areas available along the outbound and inbound roads, but they all seem to be having a hard time finding buyers. If the location is very central, you will obvioulsy have a better shot at finding somebody to rent it from you.

Thanks G
Have you any idea of rental charges for office space in CVO?
The other option we have is to make it a one bedroom flat for holiday lets, but we are abit concerned about the noise,it is right in the hub!!!!(Not many repeats????)

I'd go for the one bed flat option. There seem to have been quite a few enquiries on this site trying to get that kind of place for youngsters wanting somewhere to stay when working in Cvo. Would be ideal for young singles, couples or golfers who don't mind the noise - they're usually the ones out all night making it?
