Licy I doubt very much that you would frequent the same places as me,but I may be wrong.

What inspector Cleuseau does not know is that I have a little bolt hole on Loch Lomond for when I want peace and tranquility but it would appear I can't keep up with all you clever people, seems to be an awful lot of spiteful people on this forum,shame.......

You are too kind to them. They are the same people all the time that hi jack threads, make fatuous comments and generally waste peoples time. Their postings should be moved to Chit Chat by the Moderator

Talking of fresh milk, which colour carton is the equivalent of the UK semi-skimmed and which is full fat?

We use pink skimmed too. Guess it's like our red colour code. We have used pale green. I thought there was a blue one but we never buy pasteurised milk so maybe making that up. Thought Portugal would have same colour as us.

You sure Bruce?

Green is definitely whole milk, but blue (meio gordo) is in a darkish blue container and magro is in a pink one!

This is why I am totally confused - I remember seeing the pink ones and wondering what they were. I suppose it's best to remember the name (Meio Gordo) in future - providing it's printed on the carton in large letters as the old eyesight is not that good these days.

Geoff - I copied and pasted from a Portuguese site, we only use semi skimmed so not looked at the others.
