Evidently we have missed a lot whilst we have been away!! However getting back onto subject.pm wrote:Sharen,
I thought we were supposed to turn up hours early for 'security' purposes. Has that requirement been dropped?
We still went through the usual palaver of checking in our bags, we just didn`t have to queue for ages and we turned up less than 40 minutes before the flight!! Definitely something to consider for future flight bookings. It´s just a shame that it is not done for the return leg of the journey!

I totally agree with you Mike, as previously stated, not impressed with BA at all.Mike,Chislehurst wrote:So what happens when guest who booked BA finds it's cheaper and won't refund the difference. Anyone had this problem (I hate them) and especially that pizza rubbish they give you on lunchtime and evening flights. Take a health inspector if your flying with them!

Re PM's post. No I would not offer to pay the difference on the grounds that all air lines encourage you to book early for the best fares so I would expect it to increase. Some guests to our villa last July had the same experiance with Monarch Scheduled a month after they booked. They refunded the difference straight away.
