Monte Carvoeiro Club

Hi All - we are looking to book a week at the Monte Carvoeiro Club in a couple of weeks for our first visit to Portugal. Anyone had any experience of this resort (mainly timeshare) and is it close to the facilities? Would appreciate any info and must say, reading all the posts, sounds like a good spot to visit.

Fine spot! Just five minutes from Cvo square and beach- located at top of hill- nice vews- excelent resort.Go for it.

There is a great traffic free bar/restaurant area in Monte Carvoeiro. It was fab as the children could run around the fountain without the risk of getting run over!!! The atmosphere was really good especially in the Cocktail Garden bar and there was live music at least 3 times a week. Just to have that area to be able to walk to of an evening rather than driving is a big plus of staying in this area!
