Himalayan space open in the Centro Tibetano in Faro
Last Saturday, 11th March, saw the official opening of the Espaço Himalaias (Himalayan Space) in the Centro Tibetano de Faro. This is a new concept in leisure to forget all the day-to-day stress and fatigue.
With hundreds of square metres, the new space offers Shiatsu, Acupuncture, Ayurvedic Massage, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Reiki, Naturopathy, Reflexology and Crystals, amongst other alternative therapies.
Visitors are welcomed by an enormous image of Buddha over a stone font located in the window, which transmits to all entering a sensation of peace, tranquility and well-being.
In addition to the usual practices, the new space also has individual therapy rooms for massages, a room for relaxation and aromatherapy and a garden esplanade with fountains, where vegetarian gastronomic specialities can be tasted.
The inauguration counted on the presence of many users of the Centre, as well as the President of the Parish Council of the See, Joaquim Teixeira, and of the ex-deputy of the PSD, Carlos Martins, amongst others
