Car Park Charges
Car Park Charges
Just booked parking at Gatwick for a 4 day trip over christmas, surprised to discover that " on Airport " was 60% of what we pay at Bristol.
Although this is a topic that should eventually be transferred to FAQ would other contributors suggest their best deals for airport parking across the UK.
Hopefully we can all then save a little money.

well I found a lovely empty car park at gatwick...some gates were open so I turned in and drove on this very large road ..had lots of coloured lights to help me park and numbers (didnt understand them) which was very nice..bit noisy though as something went close to car....anyway didnt have far to walk as a gangway came right down to the car door...very civillised I must say.

as this answer could go in FAQ. We run a airport carparking service at
Manchester Airport and are willing to offer CVO.com members and guests a 15% discount. Please pm me for details.

However, 15% off what? Discounts are meaningless unless one knows the original price. The other day I went shopping and saved £50 . . . . and all I had to do was spend £500!

Its a bit difficult Michael to answer your question as prices vary from month to month, but rates range from £24.00 per week up to £36.00 per week. Day and weekend parking also available. There would be a further 15% discount for cvo members/guests. How about at weekend in Manchester, MC, and with all the money you will save on parking, Sharen can spend it on clothes

Mmm, let me see. Shall I pay £78 for a nice bed for the night and a nice leisurely bus ride to the plane at Heathrow; or shall I park my car at Stansted and get a bus/train to Heathrow?elle wrote:Lotsa good luck with it Flower, wish we were nearer![]()

Michael? H reckons thats expensive,£78, we can pay just £54 for 2 weeks parking at Stansted.
You are comparing apples and oranges.
If you really want to save money on car-parking you can leave your car at my house for 14 days and I'll only charge you twenty quid!
