IS ANY THING HAPPENING IN CVO ????

Post by tbbr »

Having scanned the various topics on the site in recent weeks I get the impression that abusolutley nothing of interest is taking place in CVO or the algarve.

Is this the equivalent of the " silly season .

What is there to interest new readers or contibutors ???

So maybe " chit chat " is the forum that should be used rather than this one ???

I agree. That is quite enough frivolity. It is of course vital for the economy of CV, the Algarve, Portugal in general and in fact most of Europe (oddly enough parts of Belgium seem not to be affected), that all people on this forum try as hard as they can to encourage people to visit CVO, tha Algarve, Portugal, and the rest of Europe (apart from that bit of Belgium).
Someone elses country needs you.

I love this time of year. Cool enough for dinner on the terrace. No mosquitoes.

Not a bloody Belgium tourist in sight ….

I think tbbr means cvo.com, not cvo the delightful “village”, where nothing ever happens.

apologies to all Belgians (you know who you are!)

To be honest I haven't noticed the difference from usual except that the "summer season" questions have died down, like: where is villa such and such and what time does Zoomarine open and shut etc etc. I think living in the Algarve and in particular Carvoeiro is like living in Littlehampton or somewhere similar...it is a holiday resort and it all slowwwwwwwwwws down in the winter to a virtual stop.

Holiday time for some of us soon anyhow, Brazil, UK, Canaries. Wherever you are heading forum chums...enjoy. :D

By the way Belgium is cool...great beer and chocolate.
