Hello
We are making our first vsist to town later this month, 2 adults & 2 children 12 & 14.
Would welcome any suggestions on what is a must do & what is a must not do!
Staying in Monte Carvoeiro & will have car.
Thanks in advance

For definite make a trip to Carnerios beach (not sure if i spelt that correctly). Beautiful, the waves can be quite strong which is an added benefit if your kids are strong swimmers and like jumping around in the waves. It also has life guards on site and a restaurant.
We used to go on an evening until around 8pm where my kids (4&7) would be running in and out of the tide.
Also do the aqua park which is quite near Carvoiero, about 10mins drive if that. We found if we booked through the place you stay at there is a discount and we also received a 25% voucher off first order for food in the park.
The previous year we went to Zoo Marine which was also a great day out. Once you are in virtually everything is free. Make sure you take swimming gear as there is a pool and it does get quite hot and gives you chance to cool down.
please feel free to PM me - we love the place - already booked holiday for next august.
