PUBLIC TRANSPORT CARVOEIRO

We will be staying in Carvoeiro in Aug near the Rocha Brava Complex could anyone advise about public transport, are there buses running on a regular basis etc.
I have also heard the little train goes up that way could anyone advise on that too.

I know nothing about buses but I think the train isn't allowed to stop anywhere - the taxi drivers don't approve!
