My boyfriend and I have booked a holiday in Benagil this summer. We are both unable to drive, could anyone tell me if we will be able to walk or get alternative transport to Carvoeiro, Lagoa, Lagos and other places in the area?

Hi JoD,
Benagil is a bit off the beaten track and you might have a bit of trouble getting transport to Carvoeiro. As far as I am aware, there are no shopping facilities in the area, just a few restaurants and a beach bar.
The local bus service will drive through town several times per day, this bus should take you to Lagoa and past the Intermarche where you can shop for food. Schedules should be available at the bus stop.
Calculate about 6-8€ for a cab into town.
