Anybody help ?
Just looking at the venues for markets and it says for example ''first Sunday in month'' etc etc , what happens when there is 5 weeks in the month as there is this month ????[/b]

It dont matter if theres five sundays in a month because there will still be a first sunday in that month and in the next one !!
But Albufeira for example has "every other tuesday" in the month - if there are 5 tuesdays they have markets on first and third Tuesdays only and then miss one so there are 2 markets per month.
Best thing is to check the local press when you are here (Resident/Portugal News).

Ok then, what happens on Friday the 29th April the fifth Friday of the month and Saturday the fifth Saturday of the month?............

OK then - fair enough - after reading my first post again perhaps I could have made it clearer.
The principle is that if a market is fortnightly there will ALWAYS only be maximum 2 in any month - therefore in a month where there is af fifth (whatever)day - then that day there is no market.
On the fifth XXXday all the traders have a day off and go to museums and art galleries (so Im told)
Again the english lang press print them each week.
