Post by Maggyanne »

Hi everyone, I'm wanting to install Eco electric radiators when I start renovations on my property in Portugal, does anyone have any idea where I can buy them. Thanks.

What are Eco electric radiators? All electric heaters are 100% efficient. That's as good as it gets unless you're installing a heat pump.

We use reversible air conditioning units (heat pumps)for heating in the winter, for every 1 kw of electricity we get about 5 to 6 kw of heat. We switch them on in early November and do not turn them off until early March. THe bedrooms are set a 18 degC with the living rooms and kitchen at 21 deg C. The running costs are not excessive. THey keep the villa aired and warm

If you google Eco electric radiators ( sold in the UK). You will see they are electric radiators which look very much like conventional Gas radiators, very slim, they are both modern and efficient. I don't, know if anyone makes them in Portugal.
