Light Senstive Bulbs

Post by Rampage »

Does anyone know where i can buy light sensitive light bulbs, i.e. ones that switch on automatically when it gets dark? Intermarche used to sell them but no longer.

No joy Lb - blank looks all round. Thought I'd try the big light shop in Estombar but discovered that it is now a Chinese mega-store. Same result. The bulb I'm after is a Phillips energy saver, wide screw fitting with the normal cluster of three U-shaped filaments. It looks just like a normal low energy bulb but has a small photo-electric sensor on the base. Will try the light shop at Algarve Shopping next (hopefully it will not have been subject to oriental invasion yet).

I was sure they had some that were es27 fittings that you plugged screwed a bulb into. You could try the chinese shop on the out road? Or the one at Alchatiralla (sp)

No stock in either Continente or Leroy Merlin but LM said they might have some next week. Has the Phillips factory burned down or the bureaucrat loonies in Brussels passed directive banning them?
