I understand we are all going to be without our usual TV services by spring. channel 5 has already gone. Does anyone know any more about this? it is not a case of getting a bigger dish as our one is already 1.8m's. It looks like all the bars showing sports will suffer the same plight. I don't fancy watching Portugese TV even if they do have English speaking movies.

The general opinion is wait and see.
It does seem that even with much bigger dishes we will lose the main UK channels by the summer.
If you have a good enough internet connection then it may be possible to watch BBC i player etc.

I think that Free UK TV as we have become used to it, will become a thing of the past but there will be other options. I'm already recording stuff and putting it onto DVD for rainy days.
