Did the electric charging network mentioned in this article ever happen?

Many countries offer reduced or zero sales tax as an incentive to buy an electric car or hybrid - is this true of Portugal?

I thought the review of electric cars on top gear, this week was really good.

I know alot of this programme is played for laughs...but it made some well made points.

The network is in expansion.

I think they want to have 1.300 normal charging stations and 50 fast charging stations, but until this moment they have 261 charging points in 118 charging stations.
