Hi
We are coming to the algarve in Sept but our baby has an allergy to cows milk and egg.
Does anyone know if soya yogurt and dairy free ice cream is available in the supermarket .
And what the Portuguese versions of these maybe called.

There is a wide range of soya products, yogurts, milk, cheese, available in most large supermarkets.

For anyone with allergies can I suggest you look at www.allergy.org.uk They are the British Institute for Allergy and Environmental Therapy, and have their own homeopathic pharmacy and remedies. They have a lot of information on-line. They train therapists, and have a list of registered therapists trained by them. Testing is done by applied kinesiology (muscle testing), and can be done on all ages, even babies. Results are immediate, and remedies aim to reduce or even eliminate symptoms. I am one of their therapists and during training tested positive for allergy to eggs and mushrooms, both of which I have avoided for many years. Having used the remedies I can now eat both.
