Helicopter

Saw and heard the Helicopter around 11pm. Looked on the web Cam and it seemed it was searching over the beach at Carvoiero. I hope it was not another fisherman falling off the Cliffs again, they were looking for. Anyone got any news?

I heard it too, I haven't seen anything in the local Portuguese press yet though

I heard it too, It's in the correio da manhã, someone fell from the cliffs at Paraiso beach

Two Portuguese men were fishing from the cliffs. Part of the rock gave way, one man fell, the other tried to climb down to help his friend. The Fire Brigade tried to rescue him but were unsuccessful. The helicopter was called and the crew managed to rescue the man and lift him to safety. Happy ending for once!
