Something to suit all tastes and budgets

Post by sam »

That is one of the reasons we like Carvoeiro. I have just been reading some of the restaurant reviews and the disagreements about the places. This is a general review for new visitors.
As in everything in life, people will have different likes and dislikes. We are blessed in Carvoeiro with a large number of establishments. Whilst there are a few that get fairly consistant good/bad reviews, on the whole we are well served. Whatever your budget or tastes (food, ambience etc) you should find somewhere you like to get fed and 'watered'. Exploring farther afield will produce even more choice. But the beauty of staying and eating out in CVO is that you can have a great evening, drink a few drinks and then walk or catch a taxi home.
The first time we visited the Algarve we stayed inland - the nearest restaurant was about a mile down a country lane and the next a few miles away. No problem during the day, but a pain at night, particularly with young children in tow. One of our kids is a vegetarian & fussy eater, but always found somewhere in CVO to suit all the family. Kids now grown up, so we are branching out on our own to try some of the other CVO restaurants, and discovering new favourites.

That's the whole point of this section........

You look here for advice on, and critiques of various restaurants...OR....

You discover a restaurant and give us your opinion....and in so doing our database grows.

Enjoy the experience! :D
