when i look at the new webcam it seem's as if CVO is deserted ?
Is there really anyone about?

I agree Jan. Whilst it is the end of November I have viewed the webcam several times and there is never anyone there!! Give it twenty minutes, you go in the square and I will view the webcam!! :shock: :lol:

I understand your predicament - but it isn't the lack of people I enjoy - the streets take on a very different ambience when there's nobody about - it's just 'nice' as it's something we don't get to see very often :)

Agree it is nice to get the village to ourselves for a few months of the year but of course it is very different for those in business.

It's as if, someone or something has come into Carvoeiro and sucked up everyone and taken them elsewhere! I know we have only been here 4 years, but this is definitely the quietest we have seen the village in November - it's like a ghost town at the moment. :cry:

Where is everyone ??? Please come back :)

I drove past Pestana on Thursday lunchtime and was amazed at the numbers of cars parked around the clubhouse - so there are people about.

We have friends who live on Gramacho and they refuse to use the clubhouse for eating - they baulk at the poor quality of the food, couldn't care less service attitude and always go into town.

I collected my Wife from the airport last night and the flight was full - lots of Golf bags coming off. I can't imagine they are all sitting in their hotel rooms and not going out. We went to Mona Lisa on the way back (I know you don't want to hear that) and they had 8 tables in use - a good few Canadians and Norwegians as well as two tables of 4 with Portuguese people. Driving back down through town at 10.00 pm - the place was deserted.

I wish I had an answer for you :)
