Oasis
As an update on the Oasis, Rua Du Barranco.
We have been going into The Oasis for the past 14 years and have always enjoyed the meals and the service.
We, were over in February, when they opened their doors to Customers and friends for yet another Year.
We went in on their second night and want to congratulate them on the improvements they have made to their establishment.
It's well lit, clean, tasteful, and welcoming and the ambience is calming.
But joy of joy's, the toilets are fantastic. I say this in recognition of Karin who I know has longed to update them for ages.
Love them.
Oh, By the way. the meals are great too.

Re: Oasis
Had a superb omelette in Oasis bobbie..I was dining with Kteee & husband Nick, also Rampage & Sandy & another Nick..
it was brie & mushroom but it was the salad that was distinctive..it had such a lovely dressing that really made the meal. I must go in there more often

Changing menu
As a visit to a Carvoeiro for many tourists may be a one-off thing, that's why a lot of restaurantowners (me included) get a bit lazy on changing the dishes they serve. Every year we slightly change our menu or add new dishes to it, last year we added some dishes you can order as a tapa or as an appetizer. I realize that's not enough though to keep our regular customers (which we appreciate a lot!) happy, so I will do something about it. Thanks for the "wake-up-call".
