Garden Furniture

Post by Billyboy »

Could anyone please recommend a good place to buy garden furniture ? Will need a table and 4 chairs for our new villa - nothing too expensive, but not too cheap and plasticky either ! Many thanks.

There are a couple of new places on the 125 between lagoa and Albufeira, there is a place on the ind estate in Lagoa plus try the better garden centres.

We bought some very durable aluminium furniture from Leroy Merlin at Guia.

We used Casa at Algarve Shopping for all our outside furniture last year - the quality and prices were excellent. There is a new Casa in Portimao in that newly opened business park with C&A etc - they have a very good selection - sensibly priced :)

Sharen and I had an allergic reaction to some fibreglass furniture. We both had very severe rashes where we had touched the furniture with our bare arms. At first we both thought it was ants but the chances of us both being bitten at the same time was unlikely. When I inspected the chairs very closely I could see the tiny fibres shining in the sunlight.

It was a good few hours before the rash went, during which time we were driven mad by the urge to scratch and the knowledge that we mustn't. :(

they get my vote every time, bit more expensive, but the quality is excellent. We have gone back to them quite a few times to add to our outdoor furnature over the years. Customer service and delivery is also very good with a lot of help and advise.
