Re: Computers
You can do it yourself if you the manual that came with your PC and a screwdriver. In fact, you can do it without the manual. It is quite simple. There are lots of online sites that have instructions and some have videos showing you how to do it.

Re: Computers
Hi Nah - it really is very, very, simple - if you take the casing cover off, you can see the memory "strips" on the mother board - usually about 100 mm long and very thin - you simply push the new one into one of the empty gaps - normally 3 or 4. The problem is what is your computer? how old is it?, what ram has it already got? do you know how to find out - look in "system" on your PC. If you can tell me I can probably pick a suitable one up for you and I am out there in 2 weeks time. Send me a pm with the details and I will get back to you.

It really isn't rocket-science. Download and run this http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html and let us know what it says under mainmotherboad and memory modules and we can tell you what you need and how to fit it.
Re: Computers
Many thanks for your assistance.
