New Year ideas and advice?

Hi all,I and 3 others are heading out on the 30th Dec for 4 nights and I am looking for suggestions of where to go for a nice new year meal??

Our plan would be to dine around 7.30 to 8 then head on to a bar around 10 to 10.30 to bring in the New Year so any advice of where to go would be superb....

Also are there any fireworks or anything notable likely to be happening in town?

You will probably need to book well before the 30th. When you do decide upon where to go, book it right away.

Most restaurants are open on Christmas day/night, but not so many on New Years Eve. So if you want to go to one of the better ones, book as soon as you can.

Best to book before you go, we go in the Steak House, then onto Charlys, then back up to Mungos, but the Roundup is open as well this year, there was supposed to be fireworks the last couple of years but, there was just one at midnight......Still rather be there than here, if you need any nos etc of Restaurants or you want me to ask if any in particular is open give me a nudge and will find out for you when next out.
