Must admit. the thought of not being able to email and phone whoever is looking after my apartment would fill me with horror! I know that it is probably better for the local economy to employ locals, however, I do feel far more comfortable employing someone who is a native english speaker. When I am only over in Cvo 5 times a year, she is my lifeline to what is going on in the apartment!
