Anti-Tower Rally for Areias dos Moinhos

This is an invitation to everybody concerned about the location of a 40 meter military communications tower in the heart of Carvoeiro's oldest villa neighbourhood to join us tomorrow afternoon in protest against this state-sponsored vandalism. The media will be there, including a camera crew from SIC-TV for the purpose of preparing a report for their main newscast at 8pm.

Date: Tuesday, April 7, 2009

Time: 2.45 pm/14.45 (at the latest!)

Place: Areias dos Moinhos, beside No. 34.

If you have the time and ability to run up a protest banner or slogan, that would be very welcome, too. But please, no profanity nor any expressions that will offend our Portuguese supporters - we have many and are expecting many more to come tomorrow.

Well done Halj, I'm sorry but I can't be there but will be thinking of everyone there, I believe Telma has signed the petition on our behalf. I'm sure it will go well and hopefully a bit of response from the camara or the government
