Since latest EU Base Rate cut, are the Portuguese Banks quicker at passing on the rate cuts to borrowers? I see Euribor is coming down faster than U.K. lenders(Libor). Further comments on this? How will it help Foreign borrowers in Portugal ?

Portugal has not got its ambitions mixed up with its capabilities - like a certain Brown and Darling have.

Calling Portugal a Banana Republic is akin to calling Britain the 'Land of Opportunity' - it just isn't true, is it (on both counts) :?
