We got a really good quality one from a small furniture shop in Lagoa, in the parade of shops facing onto the bus station (go straight across the Galp roundabout, turn left, then left again just after Jacobs shop and under the arch, and the shop is on the left)

It has a good thick mattress and was about 100 euros, as far as I remember

folding bed

I recently bought 2 fold away beds from MAKRO. You can get a day pass when you are there, they are the cheapest i found. They are about 36 Euros each, and very goog quality.
