water softeners

Hiya, does anyone on here have a water softener in their property? if so where do you get your salt from please? Is there somewhere in cvo or Lagoa to get it??

I get mine from either Costa Santos in Lagoa or Sulcave near Fatacil. The former sells bags of medium grain salt. The latter also offers bags of salt tablets. I am sure that there are other places too.

I think you can even get it at Izzi, but you may have to ask as its probably hidden away on a bottom shelf somewhere un-obvious

We are still buying ours from SACL, who supplied the water softener. They warned against using anything other than Kinetico salt tablets, because of purity issues. Not sure if this is true, or whether they are protecting their aftersales business.

Thanks all we usually get ours in Porches it is just nice to know where else just in case.
