Estrela do Mar

Post by Ellie 2 »

Good morning everyone after a long absence. We have recently eaten at Estrela do Mar on the ADM road on the left corner. What used to be the Brazilian Restaurant. The food was great. Two of us had fillet steaks which were the 'best' and two others Chicken Piri Piri which was the best we had had apart from the breast of chicken piri piri at 'A Rede'. The tennant is the guy who used to be at Algar Seco Parque and he tried very hard to make us welcome. I would like to see them do well. They had live music on the night we were there in June which was the night that Portugal was beaten in the football competition by Germany. All in all we had a good night and would definitely go back although disappointed that Portugal lost.

Had an excellent meal here a few days ago. Well presented, well cooked and washed down with a most acceptable house wine.

Will definitely be going back.

We had 2 really good lunches not expensive and always remembers our drinks.
Went last Sunday and there must have been 60 people, we had booked for 8 but no food till 9.30....They said they were not used to more than 20 to 30 covers a night, they turned about 20 people away.
The food was really good though and we will def be back in a couple of weeks, Port Steak was really good.
