Hi could anyone advise me where the best place is to buy a television. I was advised that they can be expensive compared to UK prices. Any help would be appreciated.

Would not agree that they are cheaper than UK but Wortens also have a very good range ( guia shopping centre ).

They will also remove all packaging, and install/fit wall fittings if needed.

Thanks for the replies. I will try Wortens and Radiopopular when I am over this month.

Try out Conforama as well as they do special offers. When we looked on the websites the deals werent always available in store but then there were special offers in store.
www.conforama.pt
www.worten.pt
www.carrefour.pt (but I think its been taken over by continente)
