Aerobics

Post by Barry »

My wife does an aerobics class twice a week when in the UK and would like to find something similar when we are in Carvoeiro. Anyone have any recomendations?

I go to an aerobics class at Carvoeiro Tennis Club on a Tuesday and Friday morning at 9.30 until 10.40 with Janet. She also does a class on a Wednesday evening from 18.30 I believe. Cost is 8,50 euros per session or you can buy a block of 10 sessions for 45 euros which you have to use within 6 months. Unfortuanately she has now taken a break until 4th September but Danielle from the tennis club is taking over her class until then.

It is not a totally high impact aerobics class, although there is some high impact for around 10 minutes. Janet tunes it to suit everyone that attends the class and includes some body conditioning with weights within the session as well.

Hope this is of some help :D

Thanks for that. The tennis club is easy walking distance from our place at the top of QDP. My wife will no doubt be there when we come for our long stay in October.

Thanks Ma-Ja's,
My wife started on Tuesday and really enjoyed it. She is back there this morning, so if you are still going you will probably meet her. She stayed back for coffee on Tuesday. Another problem solved. :)

Morning Barry,

No problem at all :D I was there on Tuesday but unfortunately can not stay for coffee as I have to get back to our restaurant to work :( I didn't go this morning but I am sure that I will meet your wife there at sometime - what is her name?

Cheers

Hi Jan,
Wifes name is Marlene, so the Germans sometimes assume she is German with very good English. :) She had a great time again today and has invested in a book of 10 vouchers. We are over for 9 weeks (longest visit ever), so will make the effort to pop in to your restaurant for a bite to eat and say hello.
Thanks again,
Barry
