Lighting Shops

Post by tricky »

Can anyone recommend a lighting shop near to Carvoeiro for table lamps. I've been to the big electrical shop in Parchal but its a bit too old fashioned for my tastes. Somewhere with an on-line catalogue would be great.

Thanks

NAME OF DIY SHOP IN PORTIMAO RETAIL PARK

Post by MALLYMAL »

Have you tried the new little retail park on the outskirts of Portimao?

They have a MOVIFLOR who do some very funky stuff.

see: http://www.moviflor.pt/content.pl?code=novidades

There's also a B&Q type place - called AKI, which has loads of stuff at good prices too.
See: http://www.aki.pt

When we were last our some units weren't yet open - eg big Carrefour supermarket - maybe by now, and makes the trip even more worhthile.

The park is signposted off the EN125- from memory it's the same as or close to the hospital exit.

Happy shopping!
