sun shine

We are coming out in a week for 2 weeks and have been looking at the website for a few weeks now. When i look at the web cam i can't see many shadows. Is it cloudy over there at the moment or is it just when i look a small cloud covers the sun.

What is the general weather there at the moment. I seem to remember my childhood holidays to spain sun shine all day every day. That was about 15 years ago mind so my memory may be slipping.

Today started out very cloudy and windy, then we had a few scattered rain showers about lunchtime, it is now turning into a nice afternoon with high, light cloud and sunny

Well for the past couple of weeks it has been between 32o - 40o but yesterday was very cloudy and drizzly, then last night we had the biggest downpour I think I have ever heard (during the night so I didn't get up to see it!) I think it must be our fault as yesterday we had just finished doing our automatic watering system for our garden!

Now it is sunny and warm again but there are still quite a few clouds about.

The next weather forecast will be tomorrow.........hehehehe

Drizzly rain this morning, overcast and cooler, forecast looks good for the weekend and next week though.

Well at 11 am this morning it is chucking it down and the sky is very overcast......... was hoping to get my last days of sun before we fly back on Saturday evening........ lets hope it gets hot and sunny again very soon.

Oh no Lesley, I hope the weather improves for you, to enjoy your last couple of days.

We were in Armacao de Pera two years ago, and it rained for 5 days (1st week of Aug). I'm praying that doesn't happen to us again this year. The only thing is, there's a bit more to do in Carvoeiro than Armacao, so I'm sure we'd survive

Can I ask you, what are the prices like in Carvoeiro this year, ie. eating out and drinks?

in regards to prices it would be nice to know. We have not been out for about 5 years now but always remeber getting a nice bottle of rose wine for a great price.

What are the wine prices like and can anyone recommend a nice rose

Sorry to hear of bad wather over there.

Here in somerset we had 10 hrs of rain and thunderstorms yesterday/last night.

, sunny and windy now today, lovely for sunbathing as the breeze keeps you cool.

The forecast is 28o today 29o-30o for the next three - four days so think this 'blip' is passing.

We come out all the time and find that mostly the prices are about the same as last year but are more than five years ago, you can still have a good three course meal with wine and coffee for four people at around 20 - 25 euros. Supermarkets are still cheaper than UK as long as you don't want to buy English food. Local markets are the cheapest places to get good, cheap vegetables
