last posting--at a guess --sounds likeGerry--if thats the case--maybe I "jumped the gun" in condemning you Gerry--thought you were still our previous "nice" guest--who seems intent on a wind-up!
If it is you Gerry--from your past postings --I know you dont put offensive messages;and Im sure Cowboy wouldnt take offense.

Cowboy! just re-read your post on "grits" about it also being called "Hominy"--theres a similar old English word for a type of gruel made from cereal --its called "Firmity"---It was sold at country fairs (its mentioned in Thomas Hardys "Mayor of Casterbridge") and on request--the person making it would add a "drop of the hard stuff"!
