I was speaking to a local portuguese contact earlier today who expressed surprise as this projcet is supposed to be a local state secret.

He is concerned as local are land owners are already asking for higher prices ( who can blame them ? )

His view ( shared by many ) is that it will be better than another load of apartments and villas plus it will bring in more visitors and revenue for the algarve.

Nightrider, honestly I don't think Guest is being difficult or rude - I think he/she was being funny ironic in the first place as someone had posted that it was all supposed to be a big secret but that is hardly the case when there is a web page (the one to which you have referred) and other articles, further comments simply re-enforced that it was hardly a secret and Guest tried to get you to see they were being ironic - I really don't believe they are being either facetious or have any further information - they were simply commenting on what had been posted.

Anyway thats my take on it and I could be wrong (afterall the other day I assumed 'Teste' to be a typo and apparently it is wrong to assume that although it is not wrong to assume it is malicious and post a cutting response) - so what do I know ??

Whilst I have taken on board what you say, nevertheless, I must ask you to consider via my postings on this forum, the work that has been carried out in order to obtain as far as possible correct information in order to assist those it would concern with regard a would be at present, alleged mega project around the Algoz/Guia area. Whilst gathering this information concern over AMI Nos and additional raised their heads, most of which has been posted above. Frankly, there is a time and a place as you put it "for irony" and I do not believe, bearing in mind the nature of the subject this to be one of them and I might add by someone who writes anonymously.

Of course without hestitation I respect your opinion as I do others, but on this ocassion lets just say we each view things differently.
