property rental licence
Re: property rental licence
If your property is fairly new you should not have any problems getting a license ours is coming up to 3 years old so we did not need any alterations. In the end we asked our lawyer to sort it as we felt comfortable with him doing that. We had to have someone come to the property to check it out. You need fire extinguishers on each floor/in the kitchen and a fire blanket in the kitchen. You require an official complaints procedure. Ours was using the managing agent. I think we needed information available to the guests including equipment information, but no idea if this was checked. It was our villa manager that oversaw the actual inspection. Hope it helps a bit. I agree with Widge about the managing agent. Most strange, unless a one man band regarding the AL.
