Hi Loretta

I beleive you are trying to confuse a simple soul such as myself by missing one out and then changing the numbers of the rest, however taking that all into account everything is correct, except that 50 the lads that sell mice is missing (but quite an easy one so I am sure you have it but missed it off the list. The answer to the first one is Atomic Rooster - well done Gazza.

Here are the answers

nuclear cockerel - atomic rooster
throttlers - stranglers
merlin - wizard
gorgeous confederacy - beautiful south
prosperous city vermin - boomtown rats
first man insects - adam ant
plasters - band aid
desperate trouble - dire straits
hard of hearing wildcat - def leopard
the lads that sell mice - pet shop boys
igloo - ice house
grafting blokes - men at work
stop jock & stop jock - womack and womack
skinny betty - thin lizzy
sibling of the bard - shakespeare's sister
40w bulb band - electric light orchestra
rub out midge - erasure
fun park magnetic effect - fairground attraction
aviation strikers - flying pickets
scrounge a baby cooing - kajagoogoo

Well done again Loretta and with Gazza picking up the Led Zeppelin, we have the lot, so I wont post the answers again. What I will do is post the FINAL 20 - ahhh !

Because I like quizzes with a pop theme but not the type that requires a huge amount of specialist knowledge about styles of music, I though this one was great. I have to say finding reasonable quizzes them is as easy as 123 (lyrics of a Michael Jackson song eh?). You simply type "pop Quiz" into Google and take your pick!!!!!

Anyway here are your final 20, and obviouslu you can use this quiz on others or next christmas around the office or whatever.

back to normal
butchers bread
eastern problem
triple soaking
armadas oak coat~
skinny bond character
lads area
reverse male revolving in top gear
coloured sweating capsicums
single blokes
dark carton
centre line on street
field protectors
obese children
wet soil
gp is snagged
pallndrome
in a hurry
popular doctor
rising sun

Maddi

p.s. Are you doing what I did when I was first asked these questions 20 at a time on a website and cut and pasting it all into a Word document - makes it considerably easier and facilitates using it elsewhere?
