For those who haven't sampled Rachel & Sergio's wonderful hospitality, Bar Talvez is about half way up Restaurant hill on the left, going up, between Casa Algarvia and Brady's Irish Bar.
Its small, elegant, welcoming, non-smoking indoors and very fairly priced.

Any feedback on recent meet-ups? There's quite a lot of members there this month.

I was in Bar Talvez, at the appointed times 3 weeks on the trot in June, and had a lovely time chatting to Sergio and Rachel.
Forum members were conspicuous by their good intentions, alternative plans and avoidance of my good self

That is a shame. At least you are making the effort. Perhaps those that voted to have them restarted haven't yet been on holiday. We'll be making a visit in September . . . . if you can put yourself through such awful torture each week until then.

I was one of those who said 'yes' to restarting the meet-ups but unfortunately haven't been to cvo since mid-May. Will be out in early September and maybe early August.

Gary and I will be in CVO from Frioday 28th August to 20th Sept so will be at bar Talvez on Wendesdays between 6pm and 7:30pm as many as we can fit in.
