I do not joke....we live no where near a river.....i.e Silves and the Arade River around 5-10mins drive....so is it not strange that a large wreck of a fishing boat with its mast laying on top of the boat is sitting in more or less the middle of a field (no house or anything near) in the next piece of land but one to ours...which I can just about see from high on our hill and home....could it be the Flying Dutchman I wonder........ :?

Could be a house boat.
 ha ha Cowboy  ....no it is not water, road or habitable worthy....completely a wreck....very very strange....I mean I know that we are at presently having rivers of water running down the hills being caused by torrential rain and strong winds that we are expereincing at the moment......but a fishing boat....where has it come from.....I mean I have heard of it raining cats and dogs but this is ridiculous

Reminds me of that scene in 'Close encounters of the third kind' (the 2nd edition)..
a boat found in the middle of the desert!
Cue 'Twilight Zone' music

I'm sorry Nightrider; It isn't me! I'm still in this country called: Nederland; Pays Bas; Países-Baixos. (And I hate it being here at the moment  !) And here it hasn't rained during a week!
