swimming with dolphins, swim with sharks instead (almost)

I think the point being made here is that the Skiathos, Bay of Biscay and any other whale or dolphin watching trips are at the animals' instigation and that they are not held captive for our entertainment. I felt very privileged to see whales and dolphins close up knowing that it was their choice to join us.
Plus it is unlikely that the the boats used cause a problem as the whole area where the dolphins were to be found is a large Marine National Park but regardless of that - lets face it they can swim right out of the Agean, Med and into the Atlantic, the Pacific, from the North to South Pole if they wish, nobody is stopping them going anywhere.
One small point I would like to make is that I did not condemn you Jennie, I also said that I had been to Zoo Marine and had tickets for Sea World, I merely said that after having my recent experience of seeing them in the wild, choosing to swim with us, alongside our boat that I felt both ashamed, embarrassed and quite frankly humbled that I had previously thought them to be both majestic and happy in the quite awful confines of place such as Zoo Marine. It was my shame I was highlighting not yours.
But as you appear to have turned a bit defensive on me , I am am quite pleased to see that. Must have hit home.

The other thing I forgot to say last night was we were not on a boat trip to see the dolphins (you referred to us paying to see the dolphins and commercial tourism), the boat trip we were on was to visit the nearby islands of Skopelos and Alonnissos (where incidentially 200 of the 400 remaining in the wild Monk Seals live - no diving, no fishing, no visiting the actual breeding grounds unless part of an internationally recognised conservation group).
