I have never found a decent chinese restuarant in the med. since I have been travelling in search of sun! I was once violently ill after one attempt to find a chinese whilst in Corfu many years ago.
Now I don't bother and instead treat myself to my local chinese when I get home as my first meal in The UK

If you were ill it was probably the rice, it did me in the old indian in Monte Cvo ..I argued forever it was the meat but some cooking expert went through it all and most sickness is reheated rice...when we thought it through we all shared the dishes and only I was ill and I was the only one with rice out of a large party...it was a tough day at aqualand the following day, first one ever to have to get off the congo river and make a fast dash thats having thrown up 4 times on the way!...you dont realise how deep that water is!!

yeah i think it was either the rice or the sauce, i hardly ate any chicken. we went down as soon as it opened so maybe they've reheated since lunch time? although i was the only one that was ill, dave said his beef was fine and his mum said her chicken was also yuck but she wasnt ill afterwards. Maybe i just had a bug or something like that, we went to portmaio the next day and when i got there i ended up feeling even worse, dave had to take me home early. Much better now tho! thinking of trying the indian one night before we leave on saturday. cant believe this weeks went so fast!

Joeysoap, spot on with the Indian remarks...O Castello not a patch on O indaino but I maintain that the O Castello is the one for tourists (the view) and the residents use O indiano . Same people own both so its a bit weird they are so different

Disagree. O Castello is a v good Indian restaurant - certainly on a par with our favourite Indian & Bangladeshi restaurants in Bristol.

I have some old friends who have a weeks golf away from their wives in Marbella every year, they leave their clubs in a garage on the way to the airport and pick them up on the way back. Been doing it for years

Bristol Si, O Castello is a bit patchy mate, sometimes good but yet capable of being really poor (cold meals, forgotten rice etc etc) Do a Pepsi taste test try both one after the other! order lamb Dansak and see the difference, you will have to have a curry two nights running but its all in the name of research

Indiano or Castelllo, this is rather like the Ele and Ela debate.

We certainly prefer Indiano, Ok its a bit like sitting in a shop window but we have not had a bad meal there.
How does the new Indian Restaurant compare ?
