Completely agree with R.Wethereyet's post. Blue, when there are no road signs indicating otherwise (and I don't think there are), drivers to your right have the right of way. It seems more of a 'slow down and see who goes first' at the moment.

Seriously tho, I wonder if it was designed for Taxis from the rank to take fares UP Restaurant hill and beyond - instead of doing a U turn from the taxi rank ?

never thought of that Though I have seen taxies doing a Uie on the hill more times than not.

There is a one way sign about 8 foot in the air to the left of Sullys, not the sort of place you would "naturally" look. I suppose Safety Joe had it raised to prevent head injuries !!

Where a road sign is situated next to a footpath, the minimum height the sign may be positioned is 2100mm from the base of the supporting post to the bottom of the sign, however the recommendation is 2300mm. i.e. 7' 6".

As these are Euro recommended standards, the Camara have got it right, but it worries me when people think it is too high, as that infers they miss nearly all warning and road signs in Europe and the UK.
