Building in the square

Well my addition to the conversation is that it is completely demolished and a very large space now. Will make a huge extension or another restaurant, going by the plans on that site it would fit in there very well, but would it be sensible to have another restaurant there owned by the same guy who owns all the others????

Agree, LJ. If the plans are correct, it is a 3 storey restaurant/bar, and therefore could (or should) be independant of O Patio. As an extension, it would make a vast restaurant and reduce competion. But if the same guy owns it ........?

It would if you were the guy who owns all the others

I say good luck to him and well done for buying up the properties when he could. Its now up to the Camara to ensure that buildings are "in keeping" and up to the general public to eat or not eat.

Capitalism is alive and well and prospering in (some parts) of Carvoeiro.
