stolen passport and other documents

We reapplied for all the documents & cards we had stolen which was pretty much everything & then of course about a month later we got a call from the GNR in Silves to say our bag had been handed in, only the cash missing. This was months ago still waiting for the portuguese driving licence.

As you did not mention until this post that you hold an American passport and your home address shows the UK as your location I suspect Michael and many others assumed you were English and wondered why the consulate in Portimao weren't able to help! Just an observation of course! :roll: :D

As you did not mention until this post that you hold an American passport and your home address shows the UK as your location I suspect Michael and many others assumed you were English and wondered why the consulate in Portimao weren't able to help! Just an observation of course! :roll: :D
Er, the original post does mention the US Embassy, which I, and I suspect many others would have taken as a bit of a clue that they where indeed American, just an observation of course :roll: :lol:
