Dear "Pammie"
I have always known that you are out there everyday just looking for the topic heading that could see "Pammie" rise like a pheonix from the ashes and I just knew this would be the one!! Poor Rob, bless him, you are quite right of course, if he didn't know where to look then how would he know what to do
Also as is he fairly new to the forum, he hasn't had any previous "Pammie" experience.
Mads
p.s. the alter-ego thing is great, you know how much I love it but could you put miniscule clues in your "guest" postings!!

Roasted nuts
There will be some roasted nuts north of Silves tonight. The whole place is alight. God knows how the bombeiros can get it under control with the inadequate equipment they have
This is awful news and deadly serious, I do hope that the fires can be bought under control before there is any serious loss of life. If it is true that they have been set by arsonists, I struggle to understand what sort of low life can do such a thing. Even without human loss of life, much of nature will be destroyed and many firefighters will be putting their lives at risk as I type, I hope that their god is with them tonight.

I for one like a good drink but i do find that they sometimes over do the spirit and because the glasses they serve the drinks in are usually quite small e.g. thin and long you cant get enough of the mixer in and end up drinking near enough a straight drink, saying that i dont mind after the first few its just hard trying to get the first few down
. When i was last there in June i noticed that in certain places they charge you different if you have a branded spirit i.e. smirnoff vodka rather than the cheap unbranded stuff. Also my sister drinks bacardi and doesnt like white rum she does notice the difference but she couldnt get a proper bacardi for love or money anywhere even though she was quite prepared to pay extra for it.
