WALK: Monday 8th July Amendoeira- N.E. Loulé

This walk is the "Percurso Pedestre Amendoeira, PR11 LLE" walk. Distance 8kM, Duration about 2.5 hours.

There is a cafe at the start/finish for refreshments.

Not too much climbing & the paths are generally good, it is advisable to wear boots & have a stick but good trainers should suffice.

Bearing in mind the time of year, bring some water and a hat.

Usual caveat...All walks are at your own risk.

The walk starts and finishes in the village of Amendoeira, North East of Loulé, on the M523 road (coordinates N37.17313 W7.96266)

Meet at the Mateus Café in Amendoeira for a 10:00hrs start.

Four of us did this walk today through lovely countryside - it was hot but we were fortunate to have some breeze. I think we were all about to melt by the time the cold drinks in the cafe beckoned! Thanks to Mike for organising it

Sorry Geoff, no photo (we were not a pretty sight by the end!) The cold drinks did revive us a bit though. Great fun but the last one I think, until September. Hope you're both ok and finding time for yourselves as well as family. Looking forward to your return. Best wishes Su
