hi all
Please note that have swapped the walks 1 and 8 Feb, and this one is the Arade.
Please let me know if you can't come but also let me know if you want lunch at the Casa de Vinha in Fuzeiros, about 10 mins drive.

Whilst we were a bit concerned at potentially 27 for the walk and 23 for lunch, the numbers fell to 21 walkers and 16 lunchers : fortunately, the restaurant didn't seem too concerned!
We welcomed some new Canadian walkers, Jerry and Della : whilst the "cafe with no name and often no milk" still has no name, it has milk and has acquired a cocktail symbol, which no doubt means something, but I don't know what...it certainly wasn't a cocktail lounge!:

A quick sprint up to the barragem, weather being overcast but mild ; good walking weather.

Up and over the hill ( Nigel & Alan have the photos ) and then back down and over a muddy stream:

And back...but what was this imprint in the mud?....a giant dog ? a bear?

Back for a well earned beer....2h 40m...and then to Casa de Vinha for a good value 8.5€ prata de dia ( a small price rise!)
Hope someones got a lunch photo?
