Trying to remember...

This is a very long shot, but I thought I'd pick your collective brains. We came to Cvo 10 years ago, and have now got around to coming back again, leaving this Sunday. Anyhow, we've been discussing where we ate last time, and where we'd like to go back to. Some places are still there, which is good, however on our last night last tim we went to a fantastic Itallian resturant we'd like to revisit, but we're a a bit of a loss trying to remember where it was or what it was called.

We stayed at villa nova last time we were there, and we walked to the resturant so it can't have been too far away. We also remember it was in a part of the resort populated by germans. I seem to remember it had an outdoor courtyard, and it's waiting staff were fluent in at least English and German. They were all quite young (almost studenty) and lots and lots of fun, taking the mickey out of us, but in a nice way.

I know it's a long shot, but does this ring a bell with anyone?

Wasn't in QDP (Quinta do Paraiso) was it? - that's walking distance from Vila Nova. Other one may be Mamma Mia's - in the Monte Carvoeiro resort.

I don't think so... I remember us heading beach wards (if that makes sense) only ealked for about 5 mins...

Under new management's not always a bad thing, we'll go and investigate

Do let us know please spooky. QDP had planned to close it down and focus on their own restaurant but I believe they got an offer from the Mamma Mia guy to take it over. I'd also be interested in how buy the QDP restuarant is if you care to pop in and have a look.
