Well Sander, if Steen lets you get away with a bit of advertising - good luck with the restaurant - will have a look in July.

Hi Sander I came in to your restaurant just after you opened and I thought it was really great. I had your fresh fish which was excellent and two other people in the part had steaks which they thought were great. The decor of the place was really good and you have done a very good job of transforming the restaurant. We will sure be returning on our next visit to cvo
Re: Restaurante o Tasco
Look forward to visiting you next week. Hope O Tasco is as good (or better) as it was previously.

My wife and I ate here for the first time last night, the food and presentation was first class at a reasonable cost. If you are looking for something a little special then this is the place to go. Sander and Ruben looked after us very well and were very attentive to all our needs.

Re: Restaurante o Tasco
Just got back from a meal at O Tasco.
Agree essentially with all the compliments above, but they still have a few teething troubles to overcome.
While each of our 4 different main courses were superb, two of us who had the shrimp cocktail starter were very unimpressed.
Their concept of Creme Brulle as a dessert was highly questionable.
But these two little issue aside (both of which we mentioned at the time), this is really a restaurant worth a try and we wish them well for the season.

We visited o Tasco on Tuesday 13th March 2012 for the first time since Sander has been in charge. Excellent food, cannot be faulted!! Great choice on the Menu. Friendly and attentive staff, it was a pleasure to eat there. Look forward to seeing you again next week! Gary and Sarah, Oxfordshire.

At last a new restaurant in Carvoeiro with something different. The food is very well presented and cooked to perfection. My wife had scallops to start which were cooked just how they should be and served with a delicious mango chutney and garnished with a rocket salad. I had the bruschetta with mushrooms which was equally delicious and also beautifully garnished with balsamic dressed salad. We had sea bass and lamb chops for our mains and the lamb chops were served with a mint and crushed pea mashed potato, roasted new potatoes and we had a dish of perfectly cooked vegetables to share. We topped it off with two afogatos (vanilla ice cream with espresso on top) and with wine, 1L of water and two glasses of Port the bill was under €65 even though my wife had the most expensive starter and main course!
It was a damp chilly evening but the staff were engaging and professional and they made everyone forget about the weather with their smiles and first class food. Quality shows and the restaurant was nearly full before 8pm!!
This restaurant is a MUST for all.

We always had decent meals at the " old " tasco and it was popular with friends we took there.
Good to read that it is even better and we will certainly try it on our next visit.
